Brok Records: We’re not just a movement, we…really need the money!
I like NERD. I liked them when i heard their album in the UK before ?uest made fun of them cuz they didn’t use live drums. So the redid the whole album w/ a live band. And then released the album in the states a year later. I don’t, however, lke the electo-hipster-hop that is so popular w/ the kids these days (spank rock, kid sister, cool kidz etc). Its like they are TRYIN to be wack but are cool cuz its like the old days of rap (GASP! the 90s, wtf!? oh wait, 10 yr reunion is this year. damn, i’m gettin old). BUT, put the two together and you have “Everybody Nose” the neptunes doin other peoples gener better than they can. Talented cats indeedy.
Dopest shit I’ve seen in a while. This is a video not dudes in the club with chicks girating there thick phat gumdrops into the camera. Save that for Uncut or those private moments where you hope no one works into the room. Creativity in hip-hop isn’t dead yet. Its just doing pop now.
One of my favorite tracks of 2007 is being performed by Rihanna. WTF? Why are you covering this song? Should’t you be covering a Bob Marley Track or performing your own music. Normally I think it’s cool that an artist covers someone, like when Mandy Moore did a cover of your song, ‘Umbrella‘. But, this feels like karaoke to me, even though it is 41 seconds.

Remember the days when saying Suge Knights name was like saying Bloody Mary three times. You don’t? Well neither do I. Rumor has it Suge fell to a right hook from man that’s 5′10″ and 180 lbs. Keep in mind Mr. Knight (my bad for calling you Suge earlier Mr. Knight) is well over 6ft and weighs more then Garbage and Quaid put together (that would be 349lbs, Mr Knight tips the scale at 350lbs).

*Brok Rec Fan:Tell em the real story
Struggle: Ya’ll want the real story?
Brok Rec Fan: Yeah!!!
Struggle: We took our Demo to Suge and told him to make sure we get some spins on some West Coast radio stations, because the east isn’t ready for us. Suge started talking about how wack we were. Bad move brah. guttaMan, got pissed and straight up floored him*
True Story
Sorry for the lack of updates folks. I’ve been busy on my grind trying to get tickets to Ye’s Glow in The Dark Tour. I will fucking sell popcorn to get in the building. And if need, I will take stage and do a duet with Rihanna. Anyway, people always ask me what inspires me. Besides my love for C cups and Tom and Jerry. It’s people who are talented. It doesn’t matter what they do. They could sing, cook, draw, play the piano or just come up with a dope design. It makes me want to perfect my craft. Whatever that might be. So, check out Ryan Leslie play over Lil Wayne’s Lollipop (no homo), live on the Invasion Radio Show with DJ Green Lantern.
